Introducing Bocephus, the newest addition to our wacky animal family! He's a tan point Merle Great Dane from @oakbendDanes of Texas, and he's stolen our hearts! Danny my boyfriend wanted those exact colors, ( a tan point Merle). Shelly and her husband were so great through the process of getting our new Dane! Danny had been following them for over a year waiting for a male in the merle tan point color and Shelly would reach out to him every time she had a new litter to see if he was still interested! But finally there was a male Merle tan point that finally stole his heart so we were ready to get him despite me having just broken my leg! They welcomed us into their home and we got to meet the pups parents and see where they keep the puppies which is top of the line conditions! These puppies probably have the nicest home a dog could ever imagine ! Actually better than some people! Shelly was great and contacted us every week after he was born sending us updated pictures and videos and just letting us know how he was doing developing over the first few weeks of his life! They were very personalized to us so it made it even better! Which I’ve never encountered with a breeder with so many puppies on her hand! 10 out of 10 a great process and great people to trust to get your new Great Dane puppy from! Thank you so much!

We were blessed to find Oak Bend Danes to bring the perfect puppy home on Christmas Eve. The timing was remarkable and miraculous. Cook is already becoming a special part of our large family. The reservation process was open and forthright. Shelly made herself available for a video call so we could meet mother and pup. Shelly was invaluable and willing to answer what sometimes felt like really silly questions we had and help us find the right resources to learn and prepare for a wonderful transition home. Couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas family miracle this year :)

We love our sweet Memphis! He is beautiful, healthy, funny, and so smart (and a little spoiled😉). Memphis is a “little fur” brother to our 9 year old Great Dane. They get along famously! Shelly was wonderful every step of the process. She kept me informed and sent me pictures of him until we picked him up on December 23. This is a wonderful breeder. We brought our boy, Hoss, home in February. Shelly was so amazing, we got to see where the pups were raised - an amazing, clean, and wonderful facility. You can tell that there’s a lot of hands-on interaction with the dogs. The health of every dog in their care is obviously very important to Oak Bend Danes. Our pup is closing in on six months, He is healthy, he is happy, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Shelly is absolutely wonderful as a person and a breeder. She is so passionate in what she does and cares so much about her dogs and making sure her puppies are as happy and healthy as they can be. She is so informative and makes the whole process of bringing home that special puppy as easy as she can; with making sure you get plenty of updates on how they are growing and doing, while also sending you plenty of pictures and videos so you get to watch your little one grow as if you were there too.
